Standing at 634 metres (2,080 ft) above sea level, this moderate yet rewarding hike takes you through lush tropical rainforest, scenic river crossings, and rugged jungle trails. Along the journey, you’ll be treated to the breathtaking Lombong Waterfall—the perfect spot to cool off with a refreshing dip after conquering the trail.

As part of the Endau–Kota Tinggi Rainforest ecosystem, Gunung Muntahak is rich in biodiversity, offering hikers the chance to experience vibrant flora, native wildlife, and the beauty of one of Johor’s most pristine natural landscapes.
